Dr. Joanne Roesner
Dr. Joanne Roesner graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1986. She completed a Rotating Internship at Auburn University in 1987. After deciding Academic Veterinary Medicine was not her passion, she went into private practice.
In 1993 she started Loving Hands Animal Clinic which she owned for 25 ½ years. Joanne was awarded Specialist status with The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 2000. She moved to Scaly Mountain to unsuccessfully retire and joined the Rabun Animal Hospital in July 2022.
She lives with her animal family, Harvey her Golden Retriever son, and Vera Wang a kitten daughter. Her passions include square dancing, birding, hiking and sitting on the porch appreciating the mountain beauty.
